5Subsonic Debauchery
By John Light
The title says it all - this bass unleashes the subsonic sickness! It has features that I never see on a bass in this price range, such as active EQ, two pickups, and 5 strings. If you're looking for a cheap throw-around bass that also delivers studio- and stage-ready performance, this is it. It's practically a steal!

5ESP B 55 5 string bass
By M!KE257
Been a guitar player for 5 years and decided to add a bass to the collection. After some research I came across the B 55 and it turned out to be the best quality for the money out of all the basses I checked out. Even so, I was expecting the playability of the bass to be a little rough and clunky after playing high end electric guitars, but to my surprise it's very smooth and has a great string tone all the way up to the 24th fret. Very low set strings which is perfect for quick playing. Had the bass for a few months now and still haven't had to retune it despite many trips on the road and several days in a hot car. I'd definitely recommend it as a beginners bass. I'll be coming back to ESP for sure when I decide to move into the more serious level basses

5ESP 5 string bass

Nice guitar. I am just learning. Talked to several friends that play. Asked if I should do 5 or 4 sting. Everyone said 5 string. Looked at several and even tried some on at local store. Love this bass. Nice feel. Great weight at just over 16 lbs. Highly recommend to any level bass player.
