EC-256 The best Bang for the Buck

I bought this at a super price was sold as open box display model and came in perfect condition. well besides the aged looked that it was supposed to have so I didn't mind buying the display model in case it had a couple dings , I wouldn't mind cause I figured its aged anyway. regardless in came in perfect condition, all I had to do was change the strings. I am an I.A.R gradate and have been involved with music since 1990 and I have never spent so little and got so much...I have had a dozen guitars over time, fender strats, ibanez, fernandes, peavey, etc....Ive had or played em all. Because of financial troubles I had sold them all a couple years back and just couldn't live without a guitar. I built a few cigar box guitars one with an ovation neck just to fiddle with being poor and all but still missed the electric...I used to own an ec-500 with emg's and loved it..I go for a rock sound so decided to go with the ec-256 with p90 type pickups...Am I pleasantly surprised....not as metal sounding as my ec-500 but man I love this guitar and in my old age I realized if you can play, you can play.period. if hendrix picked up some kids silvertone from walmart hed still sound like jimi...so, this is a monster guitar with many sounds, be it the coil split button, genius..no fret buzz, good intonation not that you coudnt adjust that anyway....go out and get one, you wont be sorry, and learn dem blues, this guitar sings em with style, and people will just think you been playin the guitar 20 years with the aged look.lol go for it!!!..lighter strings recommended...
