Great axe!
By S. W. Ramsdell
I bought this as a backup guitar to keep onstage in the event of a string break or some other catastrophic event, and as an everyday guitar I could haul around without having a heart attack if the case gets bumped or nudged. I tried it in a music store on three different dates before finally buying it. I initially thought I may have to switch out the pickups, but the factory pickups are actually quite good. I was comparing it against an MH-1000 with Seymoure Duncans, and didn't notice a drastic difference in playability or comfort; the MH-1000 was lighter but I didn't really care about that. I love the neck; there's something about a nice, clean maple neck that I find visually and ergonomically pleasing. The Floyd Rose works just fine if you know how to use them, and the pickup combination gives you a pretty versatile sonic pallete to work with. For the price, this is a much better deal than an Epiphone or a Squier, since both of those brands have incredibly inconsistent build quality - one could play like a dream, and another that looks just like it may have faulty soldering to the point at which the pickups don't even work; even the new line of low-end $500 Gibsons isn't as good as my MH-103. The color though isn't quite as you see it in most photos - mine is more of an aqua, greenish-blue color than a solid blue. If you're looking for a fun, versatile, distinctive-looking guitar that won't break the bank, get one!

Derp!
By J. Bessette
ALl i really wanted to say was that i purchased it after only reading the reviews and watching youtube videos on it. It's lighter then i thought and it sounds better then i thought. There is a little fret buzz and it was out of tune. Tuning a floyd Rose takes several tunings before it actually stays in tune. Already have blisters on my fingers from overuse, love it.

If youve been playing on a classical/nylon string and then go to thin steel expect some wear and tear on your fingers.

Excellent!!!
By Adam5
This is an awesome electric guitar. Low price and big instrument. I only change the humbucker for a Seymour Duncan or EMG and done!
