5The action on this axe is amazing!

I usually play BC Rich or Jackson, but after seeing this guitar in a pawn shop for a reasonable price, I could not resist it. Let me say this here and now, the action on this guitar is pure perfection. From the 1st fret to the 25th you can do it all. Those really hard solos that go down to the 23rd and 24th frets are so much easier now that I have been playing this.

The strings are strung through the back of the body and run over a solid bridge. This is the first guitar I've had like this, but these 'rear loaders' make the guitar feel very stable and sturdy. There are no locking nuts on the top neck nut, but this guitar stays in tune without any locking at all.

The 12th fret is marked 'AX50' in a little rectangle, the rest of the inlays are standard dots.

I would recommend this guitar to anybody, from a beginner to a pro, this axe is THE BOMB!

5Great guitar, and it's inexpensive!

I'm a beginner guitarist so when I was shopping for a guitar, I was looking for something inexpensive. I had a beginner guitar and wanted to upgrade a bit, but not too much. I came across this guitar and liked the body, the number of frets, and the price wasn't too much.

For the money, this is a great buy. It plays nicely with a great sound. Changing the strings is extremely easy. I recommend this for anyone who is low on budget but would like to have the best sound possible.

I don't have much to say, this is only the second guitar I've owned. I Also have a Squire Start, this guitar is just so much more comfortable to play, so much easier, especially lower on the neck. I couldn't be happier with it.

It sounds great, it feels great, it looks great. I have the silver finish and it looks like a steel axe.

4Guitar Case

This is a decent guitar case. The vinyl cover could be fitted better at the corners, however, it is what can be expected in this price range. The inside is nicely done with ample padding to protect the guitar. The fit is excellent. I would purchase it again but hoping i will not have to.

5Very well made

A perfect addition for the LTD EC1000 that I bought it for. It is perfectly contoured for the curves of the guitar, so it fits nice and snug, an the tuners are suspended so there is no stress on the neck.

Got this in red lefty version... Man what a sharp guitar... Real good size weight shape such a rocker. I see why esp is so popular, nice open string path, nice open feel. Nice neck. Smooth jumbo frets, love the reverse headstock, but there is a slight awkwardness to the keys on other side (I'll adapt) this thing looks so rock star though, very nice. Like the layout of 2 humbucker, with routes cavity for each, feels professional. Like the slider 3 way vs toggle, having spent time on strats it fits right in...
There's a contour bevel at the neck joint tapers down toward the high note side... Nice touch.
Well thought out with no clutter, plenty of bite, great action with a larger lp style nut/guide enough head tilt no string tree stuff needed.
If excellence in design can be partly defined by least amount of clutter and wasted space, they nailed it here.
Play this a few minutes you wonder... Why aren't all guitars made this way? Very playable.
Basswood body, but lighter than most, think it's called an xj neck for extra jumbo frets, don't know radius but feels good, very shreddable, but not without tone for other styles.
Usually maker model #'s kinda signify the build quality, like f-150, f-250, f-350 , etc. but don't know that's the case at esp. Don't think there's a build quality that separates them by # just build styling....I know there's some flame maple top stuff etc, but I think they all have same basics. M10 doesn't due this justice in ascending scale. Is say, like model 10, out of a 10 scale?

5Excellent buy!

First, if you read reviews on this guitar (Jasmine guitar, not this kit), you will see that the action might be off. The guitar needs to be set up. Google how to set up a new acoustic guitar, as other reviewers suggested. My guitar did not need much setting up. The OEM strings suck, but the kit comes with a set of decent strings. The tuner is great and works well. The gig bag is a bit cheesy, and has no pockets. The DVD doesn't seem very useful to me at all, but I haven't watched the whole thing.

The guitar has a lovely tone and looks beautiful. I like the flat (non-gloss) look and the wood is pretty. The finish is off in some places, but you can't expect a ton from a 75$ guitar.

Other reviewers suggested that you set up the action, change the strings to light or medium and change the bridge to a compensated bone or TUSQ (man made ivory) bridge. This should improve the tone. I have set my action, and I feel good playing this guitar. I changed the bridge to a bone bridge (see my other reviews for the product)and the guitar sounds great. This is an excellent buy.
